YPP snaps up Leeds city centre asset

Yorkshire based property company, YPP on behalf of its clients, has acquired 23 Butts Court, an office building in the centre of Leeds for an undisclosed price.

Represented by Cushman & Wakefield, they acquired the building from David Samuel Properties, represented by Buchanan Bond and S.C. Associates.

The building, which comprises 10,344 sq ft, is formed of two adjoining period buildings with separate ground floor retail accommodation and open plan office accommodation set over three floors. It is located in the prime commercial area of the city.

The entire building, which has recently been refurbished to a high standard, is currently let to Leeds Building Society.

Giovanni Pilla from Cushman & Wakefield’s Capital Markets team said: “We are pleased to have acquired 23 Butts Court for a long-term client of ours. The building occupies a prominent location and offers underlying asset management opportunities through future re-letting and conversion to residential or hotel use.”
