Allied Surveyors Scotland have confirmed the letting of 2 George Court at 94 High Street, Haddington, to Chapter One Hair Spa – a boutique hair and beauty salon.
A new 10-year lease has been agreed with the property’s landlord Zest Capital Management at an undisclosed rent.
Commenting on the transaction, Allied Surveyors Scotland’s director of commercial agency (east) said:
“Chapter One Hair Spa has built a fantastic reputation and their services will no doubt be popular in Haddington as it continues to expand as a town.”
Co-founded in 2012 by Natalie Hamilton and Paul Bertram, the 1,700 sq ft premises becomes their first salon in East Lothian and their third overall alongside Newtongrange and Eskbank.
“We are excited to be opening in Haddington and have been searching for a suitable site in East Lothian for some time,” said Natalie.
“The space in George Court is spectacular and we’re looking forward to opening before Christmas.”
The other commercial unit at George Court is occupied by the German baker and pastry chef, Falko Konditormeister, who relocated to Haddington from Gullane in 2017.
