High profile sponsors announced for Leeds City Region at MIPIM 2020

Leeds City Region’s plans for showcasing the region at the world’s largest property investment conference – MIPIM 2020 – are in full swing with the announcement of a series of high profile sponsors.

Award winning property developer, McLaren Property is the most recent sponsor to be announced. McLaren is a new sponsor and a recent investor into Leeds City Region, with plans to bring to Grade A office space to Leeds through a new development on Wellington Street in central Leeds.

Along with McLaren Property, sponsors announced over the summer include Munroe K, Shulmans LLP and Pegasus Planning Group Ltd.

Last year MIPIM attracted 26,000 participants, including 5,000 investors from over 100 countries.

Leeds City Region projects brought home two international awards. Harrogate-based Fallons, a Leeds City Region MIPIM sponsor beat off stiff competition from China and the United States to win ‘Best Futura Mega Project’ at the MIPIM Awards for their Future Parks project. The Leeds City Region team was also recognised, winning the fDi Strategy Award for their work on the Burberry inward investment project.
