One of Nottingham’s largest electrical wholesalers and suppliers has bought its own premises following an off-market deal by Innes England.

Giltbrook Electrical has moved to 7 Moorbridge Road, close to their current Bingham branch as a base for their distributions/trade counter business.

Alistair King, Director at Giltbrook Electrical, said: ‘We’re delighted with our new premises. Moorbridge Industrial Estate is a great location and we particularly wanted a site of over 3000 sq ft but had struggled to find anything suitable for a number of years.

Ross Whiting, Business Space Surveyor at Innes England said: ‘There is a lack of stock and availability in Bingham generally and on the Moorbridge Industrial Estate in particular.

‘Nothing currently on the market suited Giltbrook but, thanks to our knowledge and connections, we were able to fulfil the brief and acquire the new site off-market in just six months.

‘The move means that their firm can expand into bigger premises of around 3,500 sq ft, but crucially allows them to stay on the industrial estate that suits the business.

‘Buying a property, rather than renting, has a number of business benefits, including providing a long-term investment and forecasting costs with more certainty. I’m pleased to have helped Giltbrook find exactly what they were looking for.

‘This is just one example of how our acquisition service can source properties to suit individual requirements. Our combined years of experience, industry knowledge and connections mean we can search both on and off market for a client’s ideal property.’
