The West Midlands branch of the Industrial Agents Society (IAS) have held another successful event raising money for two charities at their annual IAS Summer Event which was attended by a record 120 agents and developers.

The Summer Event held at Bank restaurant in Brindleyplace, Birmingham was organised by Q Squared Design who also arrange the IAS Christmas Party on a similar basis. The two charities supported by the event’s proceeds were the British Heart Foundation and Myton Hospice.

Christian Smith, IAS West Midlands Chairman, said: “The two charities we’ve supported both have a relevance to our members through either their personal experience or that of their families, so we found it very rewarding to raise this money, whilst increasing awareness amongst the profession.

My thanks go to our main sponsor Mucklow supported by Logicor and St Modwen.”

Sharon Quantrill, Account Executive at Q Squared Design, said: “It was fantastic to be involved to help raise money for two such worthy charities. This was the 4th year the event has been held. It was a great success with fabulous weather and a high number of developers also attending this year.”

Stuart Haydon, Portfolio Manager at Mucklow, added: We were delighted to have been involved with this event once again and to see the attendance grow year on year. A number of different charities have benefitted significantly over the years which we have been pleased to assist with.”
