Sian Bowen has joined RivingtonHark, the leading city and town centre real estate transformation specialist, as Senior Asset Manager. Her appointment emphasises the continuing expansion of the Placemaking & Asset Management capabilities of the company.

At RivingtonHark, she will be responsible for asset management initiatives including the securing of new retailers, restaurants and new creative initiatives for retail destinations.

RivingtonHark was created in May 2019 combining the capabilities of Rivington Land, the development management business that specialises in complex urban environments, and the Hark Group, one of the UK’s leading retail asset managers with a focus on transforming town and city centres. The enlarged company is focused on delivering the rejuvenation of UK town centres through specialist development and asset management, managing projects with a value in excess of £700 million.

David Henderson-Williams, Head of Asset Management of RivingtonHark, said: “Sian brings a wealth of significant experience and energy from across this fast-moving sector. RivingtonHark is about expertise and track-record in our field, and Sian’s know-how further enhances our proven understanding of town and city centre placemaking.”

Sian graduated from the University of South Wales with a BSc (Hons) in Urban Estate Management. Previously, she was Retail Asset Manager for Capital & Regional where she was responsible for the repositioning of The Mall Walthamstow, Wood Green and Kingfisher Redditch. She has also worked at X-Leisure and Freeport Outlets.

Sian Bowen, Senior Asset Manager at RivingtonHark, added: “I’m looking forward to working with the RivingtonHark team. It is retained on many really interesting projects, and I’m excited to work alongside both Local Authorities and private sector investors in transforming town and city centres that will appeal to local and regional residents, workers and visitors.”
