National property consultancy, Bruton Knowles, has promoted four of its own into key senior positions at its largest offices. Sam Spencer, Carl Kesterton, Nick Worman and Ben Compton have all taken up Senior Associate positions at the firm’s Nottingham, Birmingham, Cardiff and Gloucester offices respectively. The announcement follows news that Bruton Knowles has recorded its best ever trading year, opened a new London office and has significant plans for further expansion in 2019 2020.

Ben Compton, based at the Bruton Knowles Gloucester office for eight years, took over the rural team in November 2017. He set about extending its geographic reach beyond the core South West region, securing higher margin work and delivering diversifying services to a wider and more complex farming clientele.

Sam Spencer, has been with the business for 10 years and is now leading the firm’s leisure and hospitality team, delivering specialist advice nationally with a focus on hotels, pubs and outdoor leisure. Sam is also the Agency Faculty head for Bruton Knowles.

Carl Kesterton has used his base at the Bruton Knowles Birmingham office to expand the Building Consultancy team there. Following an impressive performance above target during the last financial year, Carl has now been tasked with expanding the teams’ client base and expertise on a national level, by bolstering the building consultancy division across the Northern region.

In the Cardiff office, Nick Worman, has seven years of experience at Bruton Knowles, acting as the leading social housing expert for the firm. His high earning fee and excellent development activity was essential to expanding the social housing team and improving its service offering. Nick continues to target a wider client base and increase the tender win rate, supporting Bruton Knowles growth plans.

James Bailey, Managing Partner at Bruton Knowles, comments: “We’ve experienced an exceptional financial year with turnover increasing by 8 per cent and net profits rising to 72 per cent. These figures showcase the strength within the company and there are key people in particular who need rewarding for their hard work. Alongside this, the Senior promotions will aid the company’s growth plans over the next 12 months. These guys have proven skills that have made a measurable impact on the business in the past year, and as we navigate forward each will play an important role, enabling growth by developing a large and impressive client base, and building a solid reputation within the sectors in which they operate.”
