Coup for Chase Commercial as former Mucklow MD joins the team

L-R: Julian Meredith and Justin Parker, of Chase Commercial

Chase Commercial, the Midlands-based property developer, has appointed Justin Parker as a Director as it enters a new period of growth.

Justin, who has more than 30 years’ experience in the commercial property sector, joins the ambitious developer following his departure from Mucklow Group Plc, where he was Managing Director for 15 years.

He will work alongside Director Julian Meredith to pursue and create new development opportunities across the Midlands and further afield.

Justin said joining Chase Commercial, which is headquartered in Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire, was an exciting opportunity that he could not refuse.

“I’ve long had huge respect for the company, which is forward-looking in its outlook and ambitious in its plans, so coming on board now provides me with a great platform to proactively help drive forward its future development aspirations,” he said.

“Following 15 years at Cushman & Wakefield, where I undertook investment, development and funding work, and a further 15 years at Mucklow Group PLC, I am ready and excited to enter this next chapter at Chase.”

Welcoming Justin to the company, Director Julian Meredith said: “It’s a great time to welcome Justin. We are busy with a number of significant projects at planning stage and are in the market to secure some new and exciting opportunities to add to our existing portfolio of developments. Justin’s impressive background and expertise, as well as his wealth of contacts, will help to provide us with the additional capacity needed to do this.”

Chase is currently involved in a number of major developments across the Midlands, including the 11-acre Access Park in Gloucester, which is a mixed-use development being brought forward in a joint venture with London-based Paloma Capital.

It is shortly due to start construction on Phase 1 of a 28-acre industrial development at Vale Park South, Evesham, which it is undertaking in conjunction with Wychavon District Council. This follows the completion of Ratio Park, Kidderminster, which comprises 13 speculative starter industrial units, which Chase built in a joint venture with an off-shore private client.

The developer is also committed to playing a key role in the regeneration of Evesham town centre, after being instrumental in the acquisition of the Riverside Shopping Centre. Other recent completions include two drive-thru Costa Coffee outlets at Andover, Hampshire, and Triangle Park, Gloucester.
