Chancerygate trade park full as final letting completed

Commercial property consultancy Kirkby Diamond has completed the final letting at a 15-unit trade park in Milton Keynes.

The final occupier to sign a lease at Milton Keynes Trade Park was wireless and telecommunications project consultancy Parker Beaumont, said Nick Bosworth, commercial agency surveyor at Kirkby Diamond.

Other businesses located on the trade park include automotive e-motor engineers Integral Powertrain, avocado dip maker Holy Moly Dips and beauty supplier Izabelle Hammon.

Totalling more than 46,000 sq ft, phase two of Milton Keynes Trade Park comprises new industrial and warehouse units ranging from 1,900 sq ft to 4,400 sq ft. The whole scheme totals 135,000 sq ft across 43 units. Phase two has been fully let in less than 12 months since it was completed.

Kirkby Diamond was instructed by developer Chancerygate to market the trade park located on Gould’s Close, off Watling Street, in north Bletchley.

Due to the development’s success, Chancerygate is currently actively seeking further development opportunities in and around Buckinghamshire to satisfy the demand for its product in the region.

Nick said: “We are pleased that the units at Chancerygate have been let in such a timely manner. Chancerygate has built the right product for local occupiers and this is reflected in the rapid take-up. Chancerygate identified demand for smaller, well specified units that have captured the local occupier market.”

Commenting on the development’s success, Chancerygate asset manager, George Jerram, said: “The local market for high-quality industrial and warehousing space is very buoyant. Having high-quality schemes like ours located in Milton Keynes is boosting the local economy, creating new business and employment opportunities and attracting further investment.

“We are now actively seeking other strategically located sites in and around Buckinghamshire. With our excellent track record for building successful speculative industrial schemes, we are confident of bringing more development to the region in future.”

Chancerygate is the UK’s largest multi-unit industrial property development and asset management company and the only one operating nationwide. Its asset management team currently manages £220m of assets across 4.9m sq ft of commercial space in more than 350 units.
