Quintain, the developer investing £3bn in the transformation of 85-acre Wembley Park, has secured international photography experts Getty Images Gallery, hairdresser ChopChop London, independent bike shop Twenty3c and Italian restaurant operator Pasta Remoli. Additionally, flip-flop brand Havaianas will open at London Designer Outlet (LDO), the capital’s leading fashion and lifestyle outlet centre.

The new signings will further create a varied and appealing destination at Wembley Park, one of the largest and most exciting urban developments in Europe. Situated adjacent to the world-famous national stadium, it will offer an imaginative spectrum of retail, dining and leisure choices, further fulfilling the vision for the new neighbourhood.

Matt Slade, Retail Director of Quintain, said: “Wembley Park will be a vibrant, creative community bringing together people from all walks of life to live, work, play and more in an exciting, world-class destination. The new signings further build on our legendary past and the successes and proven track record of LDO. The new brands support our vision to create a new premier neighbourhood for North London and add to the varied retail, dining, leisure and experiential offer, ensuring an enjoyable, unrivalled and memorable experience at Wembley Park.”

The world-renowned Getty Images Archive will open a Getty Images Gallery showcasing highlights from the world’s largest commercial collection of photography. With complete access to the Getty Images Archive, a selection from more than 80 million photographs, the 915 sq ft gallery will present stunning photographic exhibitions related to Wembley Park, alongside curation, sale and bespoke production services.

Amie Lewis, Director at Getty Images Fine Art Sales & Exhibitions, said: “We are excited to support this new development with the opening of Getty Images Gallery on Olympic Way. The Gallery will allow the public to view some never before seen images from the Getty Images Archives, celebrating the rich history of the area. We also look forward to working with local residents and developers to supply some unique artwork to celebrate their new living spaces.”

The ChopChop London salon will be its first permanent location and largest to date, offering gender neutral pricing from its 1,800 sq ft space. Independent bike shop Twenty3c will open its second store and first in London. The 1,390 sq ft space will also offer a fully equipped workshop, bike fitting services and space for on-site education. This adds to Wembley Park’s long association with cycling including sponsorship of the Dave Creasy Memorial 6, the Ovo Energy Tour Series and the Wembley Park Cycle to Mapic 2019.

Additionally, one of the most iconic Brazilian brands, Havaianas, inventor of the modern-day flip-flop, is set to open a 1,020 sq ft unit at LDO.

Serving traditional, homemade pasta dishes, Pasta Remoli will open a 1,050 sq ft unit, the operator’s fourth restaurant. Using authentic Italian ingredients, it will offer a weekly-changing seasonal special, homemade breads, cakes and deserts.

The Wembley Park development will include over 500,000 sq ft of retail and leisure, including 240,000 sq ft of new build. Serving the neighbouring residential and working population in Wembley Park and the wider, affluent catchment it is set to attract over 20 million visitors a year. Wembley Park will benefit from £328m annual retail spend, more than Camden, London Victoria and Ealing Broadway.

Wembley Park’s shops and restaurants will sit alongside major retail brands at LDO with at up to 70 per cent off RRP throughout the year, plus a choice of popular restaurants and bars. Neighbouring Wembley Stadium and The SSE Arena, Wembley, attractions include Boxpark Wembley, Wembley Park Market with a community of lifestyle, fashion, wellness and food ‘makers and merchants’, and the new Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre soon to stage the National Theatre’s War Horse after opening this summer.

The latest additions will particularly appeal to the growing community of residents in Wembley Park’s lifestyle-focused apartments by Tipi, Quintain’s wholly-owned rental management platform with an all-inclusive pricing. Purpose built homes with top quality appliances and stylish furniture with personal touches such as pet-friendly buildings, social spaces and a varied events programme including yoga and Pilates events. Quintain’s vision is for Wembley Park to become the UK’s largest single Build-to-Rent site, with a full-time residential community of 20,000 by 2027.

Just 12 minutes from Baker Street, 21 minutes from King’s Cross and 23 minutes from Waterloo, Wembley Park is one of the UK’s best-connected districts and is served by the Jubilee and Metropolitan lines, as well as national rail from Wembley Stadium station to Marylebone and out to the Chilterns.

Agents for Wembley Park are Nash Bond and Cushman & Wakefield. LDO is managed by Realm, the UK’s specialist outlet operator.
