Building and project consultancy Paragon has further invested in its team with the promotion of 19 people across four offices to help drive the business’s continued expansion.

One of the largest independent consultancies in the UK with nearly 200 employees, during 2018 Paragon added locations in Esher, Edinburgh and Bristol to complement its existing London and Manchester offices.

The promotions have taken place in Paragon’s London, Esher, Bristol and Manchester offices across various service lines. These include building surveying, cost management, neighbourly matters, project management, project monitoring and environmental.

In London, four people were promoted to director level including Andrew Hezelgrave in building surveying, Ben Hulland in cost management, Nick Hodds in neighbourly matters and Dan Fitch in environmental. New associate directors are Jonathan Smith and Leigh Rowley in building surveying and Matt Pike in cost management. Jamie Day has been promoted to senior building surveyor.

There have been eight promotions in Esher, including Tom Wylie as director in cost management and Simon Hobson as associate director in project management. Oliver Brown and Nick Marlow have been promoted as seniors in project management, while Kirsty Kimber, Andrew Owens and Mark Edwards all become seniors in the project monitoring team. Matthew Bell has been promoted to project monitor.

In Bristol, cost management team members Jess Dowsing and Jack Nowicki have been promoted to director and associate director, respectively. At Paragon’s Manchester office, Simon Long has been promoted to director in building surveying.

Commenting on the promotions, Paragon joint managing director, Robert Perry, said: “We have enjoyed a year of significant expansion and anticipate further growth. We want to reward the exceptional talent that has helped get us to where we are today and who will help continue to drive Paragon forward.

“We have a distinct culture that recognises and celebrates those who are dynamic and able to inspire colleagues and clients alike to deliver outstanding results. These promotions are testament to that approach.”
