Ryden announces new wave of promotions

Alan Booth, Ryden Partner

Commercial property consultant Ryden has announced several senior promotions. Alan Booth, part of the Project Management team based in Glasgow, and Greg Limb, from the recently launched Residential Investment & Development department in Edinburgh, have both been made Partner.

Other promotions include Mark Friars, Ross Murray, and Dan Smith, all based within the firm’s Building Consultancy group; and Cameron Whyte, Edinburgh Agency, who have all been become Associate.

Ryden now has 44 Partners across its six offices in Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds, London and Manchester. The company has also restructured management within its Edinburgh office with Colin Busby stepping up as Regional Managing Partner, following Dr Mark Robertson’s appointment as Managing Partner.

Dr Mark Robertson commented on this announcement:

“These promotions show our commitment to developing our staff and our business and are part of our continuing plan for growth. We pride ourselves on recognising the dedication our people put into offering clients outstanding service levels.

“It is particularly encouraging to see the excellent growth in our Project Management and Building Consultancy teams with a new Partner and three new Associates.”

This year also sees the 60th Anniversary of the firm. Growing from a one man band in Edinburgh to a leading UK player, Ryden’s partnership had changed considerably since it was established in 1959 when surveying was in its infancy.

In this regard, Dr Mark Robertson added:

“Since putting down roots in 1959, Ryden’s prevailing values continue to be a strong local ethos, excellent client care and a driving ambition.

“Despite the current uncertainty, Ryden’s future is as bright as ever, and we look forward to seeing our clients’ businesses grow and supporting them in achieving their ambitions.”
