Quickstore improves business efficiency with first ever web integration

South West self storage Quickstore has completed a major investment in its’  business infrastructure and online marketing with the launch of its new website.

The new site marks an industry first by becoming fully integrated with leading self storage software solution Store IT – enabling real time data, financial analysis and marketing campaign management through Cloud based technology.

The launch marks a step change in the way Quickstore does business by allowing opportunity for home working and reducing travel between its sites as part of the company’s commitment to reducing its carbon footprint.  It also enables Quickstore to provide more bespoke offers for customers and extract greater value from its marketing investment by integrating its e-newsletter and social media activity.

The integration was achieved following detailed project work over a number of months between Quickstore, Store IT and digital agency Fuel Communications.

Andy Patrick, Managing Director of Quickstore said; “As a business we are always looking to innovate and could clearly see the benefits in bringing everything together online. We already had established relationships in place with Store IT and Fuel so it really exciting to successfully collaborate on this strategic project for us.”

Ben Masters, Head of Web Development at Fuel, who designed and developed the new site explained: “Quickstore is a shining example of a business seizing the opportunity to transform its business using web based technology. We very pleased to have provided a business changing solution to what was previously a complex development issue.”

Dick Stolp, CEO of Netherlands based Store IT commented: “We are delighted to work with Quickstore and Fuel to enable our storage management solution to become fully integrated with the new site.  This seamless integration is a real development for us and we look forward to completing more projects of this kind in the future.”

Quickstore was established in 1989 and was only the 14th self storage centre to open in the UK, there are now over 800. Since opening in Plymouth, Quickstore has an additional centre in Plymouth with further centres Exeter, Saltash and Torquay. Overall the company has over 1200 storage units across Devon & Cornwall.
