Developer completes Hallcroft Trade Centre refurbishment and extension

Leading property development and investment Group Strawsons Property has completed the refurbishment and extension work on the North Nottinghamshire Hallcroft Trade Centre, with only a single unit remaining at the popular site.

Prominently located fronting onto Hallcroft Road with nearby occupiers including Howdens, City Electrical Factors, Travis Perkins and Screwfix, the estate is situated in Retford; a buoyant market town with an immediate town population of approximately 22,000 and a 10 mile radius catchment of approximately 162,000.

The estate has planning permission for light and general industrial, storage and trade uses – boasting excellent facilities including electronically operated security accesses, CCTV and generous parking.

Commercial property agents Brown & Co oversee the letting of The Hallcroft Trade Centre, with Senior Associate Paul White saying that interest in the remaining unit ‘is strong’, with a ‘real demand for high quality industrial facilities’ in the area.

He said: “With Screwfix recently committing to a 5,000 sq ft unit at the site as part of a long-term lease agreement, the completion of the scheme further bolsters the trade offering in the area, creating additional, high quality space, and due to its prime location and excellent facilities interest to date has been strong.”

Adam Jones of Strawsons Property said: “We’re delighted to have completed the refurbishment and extension work at Hallcroft Trade Centre, creating more prime space at a well-known estate.

“The final unit offers a great opportunity for businesses in the North Nottinghamshire area to join a number of successful names who are currently located in or around the development.

“The unit is a great size, and with excellent facilities we expect it to be let very soon. We’d encourage anyone who is interested to get in touch.”
