Malcolm Hollis welcomes seven new starters

Independent commercial building consultancy Malcolm Hollis has appointed seven new starters across its offices in the UK, Ireland and mainland Europe.

Tom James joins Malcolm Hollis in Birmingham as a building surveyor. James has over seven years’ experience as a building surveyor in both the commercial and residential sectors. He specialises in contract administration, project monitoring, portfolio management, defect analysis and party walls.

Oliver Ansell also joins the Birmingham office as a building surveyor. Ansell recently achieved a BSc in Building Surveying from Sheffield Hallam University. He has experience in measured surveys, contract administration and condition surveys.

James Gibbs joins the Manchester office as a surveyor in the Measured Surveys team. Gibbs achieved a BSc in Surveying and Mapping with first class honours in 2018. He specialises in laser scans and topographical surveys.

Kevin Grego joins the Belfast office as a senior associate. Grego has over fifteen years’ experience as a building surveyor in the commercial and residential sectors. He specialises in all aspects of construction, from inception to completion for both private and public sector clients. Grego joins the firm from Johnston Houston, where he led the core Quantity Surveying department.

Richard De Rooij joins the Amsterdam office as a consultant. De Rooij has over five years’ experience as a consultant in both the commercial and residential sectors. He specialises in consultancy, acquisition, property management, marketing and legal advice for landlords and tenants. De Rooij joins the company from HHW Makelaars – Haagen & Partners, where he assisted the agency in selling and renting properties.

Steve Clarke joins the firm’s London City office as a senior chartered building surveyor in the Project Management team. Clarke has five years’ experience as a chartered building surveyor in project management. He joins Malcolm Hollis from Ingleton Wood, where he was an associate building surveyor.

Ross Uren joins the Bristol office as a senior chartered building surveyor. Uren has twenty years of industry experience and specialises in project management. Uren joins Malcolm Hollis from Rider Levett Bucknall, where he was a senior building surveyor focusing on programme management.
