Equiem’s Irish expansion reaches 1m sq ft with two new Dublin launches

Global property technology and services company, Equiem, has expanded its presence in Ireland by rolling out the firm’s market-leading digital tenant engagement platform across two further sites in Dublin comprising over 700,000 sq ft of prime commercial space.

At Nova Atria, Equiem is contracted to roll-out its technology across the 346,000 sq ft site, formerly known as The Atrium, which comprises two high quality office buildings in Sandyford, Dublin. An initial soft launch of the platform, which will be called ‘Nova Atria Community’, was held in December, with a full launch planned for the end of the month. Just under 50 per cent of the building’s total population have already signed up to access the digital platform, which is set to create a vibrant, connected and services-rich community by introducing exclusive new amenities, offers and events across both buildings.

Equiem has also launched its technology across the 365,000 sq ft Belfield Office Park (Spear Street Capital), following a series of promotional occupier giveaways and events held in December. Also available as an app, the platform will supercharge the tenant workplace experience by introducing new amenities and experiences such as free indoor yoga classes, bootcamps, lunch and learn sessions, community quiz nights, networking events and lunchtime food markets. Over 900 users have already registered to use the platform.

Both launches follow closely behind Equiem’s first in Ireland, which took place at The Campus (formerly known as Cherrywood Business Park) in September last year. In just 18 months since expanding into Europe, Equiem’s platform is already used by over 12,000 users across more than 6 million sq ft of prime commercial space across the UK and Ireland. The firm’s technology is rolled out across 57 million sq ft of space in total across the world. With more and more landlords looking engage with their customers, improve the occupier workplace experience and enhance the value of their assets, further deals in both the UK and Irish markets are expected to be announced by Equiem in the coming months.

Commenting on the firm’s continued success in Ireland, Bronny Wilson, Equiem’s General Manager for the UK and Ireland, said:

“Ireland continues to prove a hugely exciting market for us and we’re delighted to have followed up our initial expansion here by rolling out the Equiem experience across two more office sites. These launches marked a very pleasing end to 2018 for us, taking our total portfolio in the UK and Ireland to over 6 million sq ft and to over 57 million sq ft worldwide.

“With more and more companies now viewing real estate as a talent sourcing and retention tool, providing occupiers with an engaging, vibrant and experiences-rich workplace has never been more important when it comes to leasing a building. Our continued momentum is a direct result of being able to provide landlords with the tools and services to meet that challenge and truly enrich the lives of those working within their buildings.”
