Hat-trick for Johnson Fellows as graduates appointed

A hat-trick of new appointments at two of its key offices has been announced by leading commercial property consultancy Johnson Fellows.

Connor Shaw, Niall Glendon and Jake Stace have joined the company as it strengthens its Birmingham and London offices while investing in talented young professionals.

In Birmingham, Connor has joined the retail agency team to assist with disposal and acquisition instructions. Connor graduated from Birmingham City University with an MSc in Real Estate Management

He was mentored by colleagues at Johnson Fellows during his studies and impressed management so much he was offered a job. Connor originally studied history for a degree before deciding to pursue a career in property.

The retail agency team he has joined acts for a number of national occupiers and clients such as Lidl, Co-Op, Tesco, Lloyds Pharmacy, Heron Foods, Games Workshop, Starbucks and Vets4Pets.
Niall has joined the company’s lease advisory team in Birmingham, having also graduated from Birmingham City University with an MSc in Real Estate Management.

Before studying for an MSc, he graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2017 with a degree in Spatial Planning and Business Management. The landlord and tenant team he joins acts for a number of national occupiers and clients such as Co-Op, Tesco, Bathstore and Games Workshop.

Meanwhile, the company’s team in London has been expanded too with the addition of Jake, who graduated with a BSc in Real Estate from Nottingham Trent University.

Jake is working alongside Mark Tindale and Gerard Finn dealing with retail agency, lease advisory and investment roles, gaining comprehensive hands-on experience in the world of retail property.

He completed his studies at Nottingham Trent University in 2018 where he gained a first class honours degree in Real Estate. He left university with a year’s placement experience with a sustainable property developer and is now focused on becoming a qualified chartered surveyor.

Senior partner Nick Wint said: “We have appointed three young and talented surveyors who we are sure will go on to have a very positive impact on the company as they improve their skills and increase their experience.”

Johnson Fellows is planning further recruitment with an appointment expected soon in its Manchester office.
