A leading national property company has announced the appointment of a new Managing Partner.
Fisher German has announced that current Chief Operating Officer (COO) Andrew Bridge, who holds more than 23 years of experience within the firm, has been appointed to the role.
The decision came following a unanimous vote by partners after Andrew Jackson confirmed he will step down in March 2019 after 19 years in the role.
Bridge will formally move into the role on April 1, 2019 and in the intervening period, he will be developing structures, which will support him in meeting the objectives of the business
Fisher German is a leading national team of property consultants, planners, estate agents, utility project managers and sustainable energy experts with 16 offices across the UK.
Bridge joined the firm after graduating from Harper Adams University and has since risen through the ranks, initially beginning his career on the rural professional side of the business before specialising in utility and infrastructure management.
Before becoming COO, Bridge was head of the utilities and infrastructure sector, he has been a member of the current management team for six years and has responsibility for the firm’s business support operations.
Bridge is a member of the Managing Partners Forum, Institute of Directors and RICS. He is a board member of the National Forest Charitable Trust, chairs the Heart of the National Forest Development Board and used to chair the Midlands Branch of the Pipeline Industries Guild.
Bridge said: “I have been with Fisher German since graduating from university, so have seen how the firm has developed and grown over the years.

Current Managing Partner Andrew Jackson has spent more than 35 years with the firm and is working closely with Andrew Bridge to hand over the management of the business.
He will continue to lead the management team to see through the strategies already in place until he moves to become Vice Chairman on April 1, 2019 He will remain a Partner of the business, focusing on business development and client service and supporting the new Managing Partner
