Stoke business park reaches full capacity as demand remains high

A key business park in Stoke on Trent has reached full capacity, further demonstrating the continued demand for prime commercial space in the region.

Agents Harris Lamb have overseen the sale of the final vacant unit at Ridgehouse Drive estate on Festival Park to a leading insurance company.

Pace Ward Limited has purchased the 3,186 sq ft site, Unit 6, having sought out larger premises within Festival Park.

Becky Thomas, of Harris Lamb’s Stoke office, said: “We are very pleased with the success we’ve had with this estate. Ridgehouse Drive was acquired by London and Scottish Property in December last year, and we were instructed to market the site.”

“The office market within Stoke is in high demand, and with the specification of this particular estate being so high, we were confident we would be able to secure new occupiers very quickly. Ten months later, we’ve reached full capacity.”

Bruce Edmundson at London and Scottish Property said: “We are extremely pleased with the way that Harris Lamb have marketed this estate.

“The team is very well informed about the demand for such properties due to the shortage of prime office space in the region, and was able to identify potential tenants and buyers for the void units very quickly, negotiating terms and completing the deals in a very short space of time.”

Becky added “We are happy to have achieved full capacity on this estate and look forward to achieving the same on similar accommodation in the area”
