New 30,000 sq ft warehouse HQ in Milton Keynes completed and handed over for occupation by Reiser

Regional real estate developer Hampton Brook has successfully completed and handed over a new 30,000 sq ft warehouse headquarters facility in Milton Keynes for Reiser; an American owned and leading supplier of food processing and packaging equipment.

The bespoke building on Maidstone Road in Kingston facilitates further inward investment into the City and has been constructed for Resier as its new UK and distribution headquarters. This will enable the company to support the continuing growth of its businesses and fulfil its ongoing commitment of providing its food processing and packaging customers with the highest quality equipment, service, support and training.

The completed building has been handed over to Richard Watson, the Managing Director of Reiser, who said: “We were delighted to be able to work with Hampton Brook to provide our much needed expansion space within Milton Keynes, reflecting our growth and the services we provide to customers.”

“As part of the build process, Hampton Brook undertook a complex fit-out package to include machine testing and customer demonstration areas, which was a key driver behind our reasons to relocate. Hampton Brook took on board the unique nature of our requests and has delivered an exceptional building.”

Construction of the new headquarters began last November with a ground breaking ceremony and has been completed following a nine month build and fit-out programme.

Ian Jackson, Development Director of Hampton Brook, added: “Milton Keynes is a first class location, with a strong economy and skilled workforce, and like other centres in the region, there is a shortage of quality built stock. With other competing locations across the UK looking to attract inward investment, we are excited that through our ability to deliver a bespoke facility for Reiser, we have been able to retain yet another international firm in Milton Keynes.”

Commenting on the investment into the City, Pam Gosal Head of Economy and Culture at Milton Keynes Council, said: “It is great to see significant US inward investments into Milton Keynes, enabling the City to continue to deliver good quality employment opportunities.”

For nearly 60 years, Reiser has been a leading supplier of processing and packaging equipment solutions for the sausage, meat, poultry, seafood, prepared food, bakery and cheese industries. During that time, the company has gained recognition for its high-quality equipment, innovative engineering, and outstanding service and support. This total commitment to its customers has positioned Reiser as the one supplier trusted for better and smarter solutions, and necessitated the need for larger UK premises.

Hampton Brook’s emphasis on delivering premium quality buildings and its understanding of occupier’s build and fit out requirements inextricably links its continued success within the region. Commenting on its future commitment to Milton Keynes, Ian Jackson concluded: “With exciting opportunities coming to the fore, we looks set to continue to provide occupiers in the City with bespoke property solutions.”
