Leading real estate adviser GVA has appointed Jonathan Davies to its Cardiff valuation team as Associate Director. Jonathan, a well-respected figure within the Wales property industry, is a RICS registered valuer, and joins GVA with over 20 years’ experience across both the public and private sectors.

A graduate of the University of Glamorgan, Jonathan qualified as a professional member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in 2000, and since then has spent ten years working with local authorities in South Wales and the South West, as well as consultancies Bruton Knowles and Herbert R Thomas.

GVA has also welcomed two new graduate surveyors to its Cardiff office: Hayley McCarthy who joins the Building Consultancy team, and Jodie Al-Khafaji who joins the Agency team.

Welcoming Jonathan, Hayley and Jodie to GVA, regional senior director Peter Constantine says, “Jonathan is joining us with considerable valuation experience across both commercial and residential property. He will become a valuable member of our talented team here in Cardiff, helping us continue to build the strength and depth of both experience and knowledge we offer clients through our multi-disciplinary service. Meanwhile Hayley and Jodie join us at the start of their careers and we’re delighted to have them with us.

“We have a fantastic business that is reflected in our market standing, our trading performance and above all, our people. The very best talent we continue to attract into the business speaks volumes for the strength of the GVA brand, helping us drive forward into 2019 and beyond.”

In total, GVA has recruited 290 new members of staff across the UK during 2018.
