Royal London celebrates double success at Cambridge Research Park

Royal London, advised jointly by Savills and Bidwells, has let office and industrial space at Cambridge Research Park to CRFS Ltd and Applied Medical Technology. This latest activity follows Royal London’s recent purchase of the park from Rockspring in June 2018.

CRFS, the radio spectrum monitoring, management and geolocation specialist, has agreed to a new lease for a further 3,809 sq ft (353 sq m) in Building 7200, this is in addition to its existing office space marking the firm’s expansion on the Park.

Furthermore, Applied Medical Technology has recently completed the first letting at Enterprise, the park’s new 75,000 sq ft (6,967 sq m) speculative industrial scheme. The medical research and development company will use the 5,433 sq ft (505 sq m) unit for manufacturing and R&D purposes.

William Clarke, director in the business space team at Savills Cambridge, comments: “Situated in a key northern cluster location within an Enterprise Zone, Cambridge Research Park continues to appeal to a myriad of occupiers across a range of different sectors. Since its purchase by Royal London there has been an encouraging level of activity and we are very pleased to have secured the first occupier at Enterprise. Other units are already under offer with businesses seeing the benefit of new flexible product. What’s more, CRFS’s ongoing commitment to the park is testament to its success under its new ownership.”
