Innovation funding specialist Leyton UK opens first office in Manchester

Innovation funding specialist Leyton UK is opening its first office in Manchester in a deal brokered jointly by real estate advisors Colliers International and Cushman & Wakefield.

Acting on behalf of landlord McAleer & Rushe, Colliers and Cushmans secured 3,602 sq ft on the third floor of 60 Fountain Street for Leyton UK on a five-year lease at £19.00 per sq ft, with Leyton UK represented by Terra Firma Consultants.

Founded in 1997, Leyton has grown into Europe’s largest innovation funding specialist, helping organisations to improve their global performance. Its UK offices in London and Glasgow specialise in the optimisation of research and development (R&D) tax relief, R&D grants, HR advice and employment law services.

On completion of the fit out of its office suite before the end of 2018, Leyton UK will employ up to 30 consultants at 60 Fountain Street.Cushman & Wakefield

Located in the office core of Manchester, 60 Fountain Street has undergone a comprehensive refurbishment by McAleer & Rushe to offer air-conditioned, Grade A office accommodation across five floors and an extended, reconfigured and modernised reception.

Tom Lathwood, surveyor, national offices at the Manchester office of Colliers International, secured the deal and said: “Leyton UK is the latest blue-chip business wanting to share in the increasingly global success story that is Manchester by securing high quality office space in a central location such as 60 Fountain Street.”
