BizSpace respond to growing demand for workspace in Hove

BizSpace, the largest national provider of flexible workspace, has renovated their Hove Business Centre, reopening to the public on Wednesday 26th September.

Investing just under £1million into the refurbishment project, BizSpace responded to the growing local demand of affordable work space by converting a former school hall, known locally as C2, to a newly refurbished suite of offices. As a result, 17 new offices with approximately 1000 sq. ft. of new lettable space has been created.

To accompany the scheme, which was developed in partnership with the company Madlins and Territory Interiors and delivered by BG Builders and Dextra Lighting, BizSpace identified an opportunity to further improve the functionality and purpose of the main reception. The newly formed coworking space enables customers to collaborate whilst offering the modern requirements for small businesses.

The lighting has been intelligently installed using British manufacture, Dextra lighting, with all windows replaced by in house customer Vision Windows. The aim was to protect and enhance the original architectural shape and styling, whilst ensuring the specification met modern environmental and insulation requirements.

The interior aimed to embrace the historic nature, having been a former 1930s school, developing the space to create a warm, inviting area suitable for the needs of the local small businesses.

As a company who believe in creating a strong community, they are bringing together local businesses for a networking opportunity. The Hove launch event will take place on the 26th September, from 11-2pm, to give the public a first glimpse at the new space.
