Sharon Reilly has been promoted to head of GVA’s national Property Management Accounts (PMA) team.

A Chartered Management Accountant, Sharon has been with the PMA team for 14 years, joining the company as a project accountant.

Sharon will head up a national team of 130 staff handling property accounting services – including rent and service charge collection and payment for both investors and occupiers – for a range of clients across GVA’s network of 11 regional offices.

PMA is appointed on 4,000 landlord properties and 20,000 occupier sites across the country, handling circa £1.5 billion through its accounts every year.

Major clients range from professional services and property companies including RBS, Moorfield, Calthorpe Estates and Clearbell, to individual developments such as Birmingham’s Brindleyplace and London’s Salesforce Tower.

Sharon intends to spearhead an expansion of the services offered by the PMA team, creating a full accountancy service that will enhance their capability to clients.

Sharon said: “My aim is to continue driving the greatest efficiency that we can for our clients, streamlining processes and adding additional value. By increasing the breadth of the services that we offer, we’re continuing our transition from property accounting to full accountancy services.

“This includes integration of new software and where processes are changing, ensuring that we’re upskilling our teams. This will ensure that our teams are able to offer a wider range of services to our clients, delivered with the greatest level of efficiency.”
