Tungsten continues expansion with new development director

Andrew Cox joins Tungsten Properties as development director

Tungsten Properties, the Leicestershire-based industrial and warehouse development company, has appointed Andrew Cox as development director to join its four-strong property team as it progresses its 800,000 sq ft pipeline of industrial and warehouse development.

Andrew has 21 years’ property experience and has joined from Rigby Group where for four years he was development manager covering their airport and real estate portfolios. Prior to that he worked at Bayliss Management, St Modwen Properties, Donaldsons and King Sturge.

The news follows the recent appointment of David Mole as development surveyor who joined in November 2017 working alongside managing director Jeff Penman, Ian Dunckley, development Director and Mark Bailey, contracts manager.

Jeff Penman, managing director, Tungsten Properties said: “We are delighted that Andrew has joined our team. His consultancy and client-side experience give him detailed understanding of numerous industries and sectors which will benefit our customers. Our recent recruitment means that we are best placed to take advantage of the significant pipeline of development work to provide specialist logistics and warehousing to meet the demand from our customers whilst continuing our growth.”

Andrew Cox added: “I’m excited to have joined Jeff and his team. Tungsten Properties is a dynamic and well-respected developer delivering high profile, modern, market leading schemes demanded by today’s occupiers. I look forward to working on the many planned speculative developments and specific schemes for occupiers and our investment partners, delivering industrial, distribution and roadside schemes in locations across the country.”
