Sheet metal specialist invests in Birmingham base

National commercial property consultancy Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH) has announced that a modern industrial/ warehouse building has been sold to a leading sheet metal specialist.

The unnamed company has bought 5 Catesby Park, Kings Norton, Birmingham, a 16,204 sq ft unit comprising a 12,160 sq ft warehouse and two-storey offices amounting to 4,044 sq ft.

Matthew Tilt, director of LSH’s industrial and logistics team based in Birmingham said: “Industrial and warehouse units of this size are highly sought after across the Midlands. It is rare for these units to be available to buy, so I expected there to be a huge amount of interest in the property.

“It is a modern unit in a very convenient location and once we informed the eventual buyers that the building was available they seized the opportunity immediately, and prior to formal marketing, as it matched their requirements perfectly.”

Catesby Park is located off Eckersall Road in Kings Norton, accessed from the A441 Pershore Road. Junction 2 of the M42 is within three miles providing access to the wider national motorway network including the M5, M40, M6 and M6 Toll.
