SevenCapital named in LSE’s ‘1000 companies to inspire Britain’ report for 3rd consecutive year

Phil Carlin, managing director, SevenCapital

Leading UK property developer SevenCapital has been identified as one of only 19 real estate companies in the London Stock Exchange Group’s 1000 Companies to Inspire Britain report for the third year running. The report is a celebration of the UK’s fastest-growing and most dynamic small and medium sized businesses across the UK.

To be included in the list, companies needed to show consistent revenue growth over a minimum of three years, significantly outperforming their industry peers. More detail on the methodology can be found in the report online at www.1000companies.com.

SevenCapital managing director Phil Carlin said: “Our inclusion in this report, for the third year running, is testament to the hard work and determination that is being put into the business by every member of our team.

“The past 12 months have been our strongest yet – we’ve delivered circa 1000 residential units with a further 1400 units due for completion in the next year. We also successfully completed our first industrial development and achieved outline planning approval for a game-changing 1 million sq ft, £270 million regional leisure development in Swindon, just four months after acquiring the contract.

“SevenCapital is experiencing a very exciting period of growth and we look forward to what the next 12 months will bring.”

Nikhil Rathi, CEO, London Stock Exchange Plc: “We warmly congratulate all of the companies identified in this year’s ‘1000 Companies to Inspire Britain’ report. Five years on, the report continues to demonstrate the strength and diversity of British businesses across the country. These dynamic companies are the backbone of our economy, playing an important role in the UK’s ability to innovate, export and grow. This report is a significant part of London Stock Exchange Group’s broader campaign to support UK high growth companies. We are committed to championing British businesses and Britain’s dynamic entrepreneurial spirit.”
