BOSS, the Birmingham-based commercial property agency that acts for tenants seeking office space, has acquired the 18,400 sq ft third floor of Colmore Gate in central Birmingham on behalf of clients iHub.

This is a major expansion for iHub, who originally completed on the fourth floor of Colmore Gate in January 2017.

After a three month fit-out, the centre launched in March 2017 and was 100% let in April 2017.

BOSS managing director Marcus Hayes said: “We are expecting similar success for the third floor of Colmore Gate as general manager Emma Johnston already has 70% of the space let prior to iHUB’s works completing at the end of May.”

Emma Johnston said: “We are very pleased to announce our continued expansion on to the third floor.

“Our original space on the fourth floor set a new benchmark in the Birmingham flexible office market and let up in record time.

“We are confident that the third floor will be even more successful and have some really creative ideas to enhance the work environment further.”

iHub has taken the 18,400 sq ft at £25 per sq ft on a ten year lease.

Marcus Hayes added: “This is further proof of the continued growth of the flexible office market outside London. While competition increases, the best quality products in this market will always let well. It has been a pleasure working with Emma and the iHUB team throughout this journey.”
