Central Birmingham office market take up figures Quarter 1, 2018

Office take up in quarter one, 2018 in the central Birmingham office market totalled 148,483 sq ft in 22 deals as scheduled in the table below, compiled by the Birmingham Office Market Forum.

The Q1, 2018 outcome represents a relatively encouraging start to the year, following the record take up seen in 2017, most of which was recorded in the second half of the year. The 148,483 sq ft is in line with the 5 (158,899 sq ft) and 10 (135,828 sq ft) year Q1 average take up parameters.
