Pho signs at Guildford’s Tunsgate Quarter and Centre Manager announced

Queensberry has signed Pho, the Vietnamese street food restaurant, for Tunsgate Quarter, the 80,000 sq ft retail and and leisure development in the heart of Guildford town centre. The centre will open to the public on 15th March 2018 followed by a number of special activites throughout the next couple of months to celebrate the opening of further shops and restaurants, such as Pho, in the coming months.

Established in 2005 and with over 25 restaurants across the UK, Pho will serve its namesake (pho), Vietnam’s famous national dish – aromatic, nutrious and delicious rice and noodle soups – alongside other healthy Vietnamese dishes like spicy salads and fragrant curries, from a 3,700 sq ft unit in Tunsgate Quarter.

Stephen Wall, co-founder of Pho, said: “We are really looking forward to opening our doors at Tunsgate Quarter. The newly remodelled centre is the ideal location for us in Guildford, and we are excited to introduce everyone to our healthy Vietnamese food later this spring.”

Ready for the launch, Claire Suggitt has been appointed as Tunsgate Quarter’s Centre Manager. She brings many years’ experience with her in shopping centre management to the new role including, most recently, Princess Quay shopping centre in Hull.

Developed by Queensberry, Tunsgate Quarter will be a thriving and stylish shopping and dining quarter, home to a range of premium lifestyle and restaurant brands, in the heart of Guildford’s historic town centre. At 70% pre-let, terms have now been agreed on a further 12% of the space within Tunsgate Quarter with discussions now taking place on the final six units. The premium shopping and F&B mix will increase the appeal of Tunsgate Quarter to those living in and around Guildford, attracting new visitors to Guildford and as well as encouraging increased repeat daytime and night time visits.
