Workspace pioneer Spaces opens Uxbridge hub

Creative workspace pioneer Spaces has opened its first business hub in Uxbridge, occupying 1,854 sq meters of space in The Charter Building, located directly off Uxbridge High Street.

In an opening event held on 8 February, the Uxbridge Spaces team and clients celebrated the launch of the newest addition to the town’s workspace community. Amsterdam-born Spaces provides creative working environments which are designed to integrate lifestyle into work.

The new hub is designed to meet the varied workplace requirements of today’s entrepreneurial businesses and offers private offices and meeting rooms, as well as a vast co-working space suitable for any need. Located in the heart of the town’s thriving business district, the hub is just a three-minute walk from Uxbridge underground station, and has direct rail access to central London.

The opening is the latest step in Spaces’ UK expansion which continues to gain momentum. Founded in 2006, the company has already opened several hubs across the UK, in locations including London, Liverpool, Brighton and Gerrards Cross and is due to open in several other locations in the coming months. Internationally, the company has a presence in more than 25 countries including the Netherlands, USA, Australia, Japan, Singapore and Mexico.

Richard Morris, UK CEO, Spaces, comments: “Spaces gives members the opportunity to work alongside and meet fellow professionals who believe in the power of a collaborative approach to ideas generation and business growth.

“With its excellent transport links and thriving business scene, Uxbridge is a highly-sought after business address and, as such, is the perfect fit for our new location.”
