Colliers’ Investment Property Management team welcomes new recruits

Colliers International’s Investment Property Management team has welcomed four new recruits to its busy Birmingham team.

Jon Asbury joins Colliers’ now 13-strong Birmingham property management team from Select Healthcare, where he has spent the last five years overseeing the management and construction of specialist residential care facilities across the UK.

“Jon’s appointment could not have come at a better time,” said Martyn Edwards, Head of Investment Property Management in Birmingham for Colliers International. “Coming off the back of a string of new client instructions for the likes of Birmingham Wholesale Markets, Nurton Prop Co. and Stratford Town Trust, we are busier than ever. Jon’s expertise in managing specialist healthcare facilities will be invaluable as we continue to expand our client base across the UK.”

Jon Asbury, added: “Colliers has a fantastic reputation in the Facilities Management sector. It is known for having an unrivalled track record in collecting rents in record time, but it was the team’s unique approach to client service and its commitment to transparency which impressed me the most. The team’s Client Portal allows clients to see exactly where their accounts are, at any given time, including notes on arrears and comments from tenants – this level of transparency is not a requirement but it speaks volumes about Colliers’ confidence in the team and their ability to deliver consistently high standards of service – this was something I wanted to be a part of.”

Also joining the Investment Property Management team in Birmingham is Martin Conner, who will be part of the department’s dedicated Shopping Centre Management team as a Senior Surveyor. Meanwhile, two new Estate Assistants, Carly Ryan and Sarah Oates, have been recruited to support the work of this busy team across the UK.
