Aerial footage shows progress on new head office build at Skypark

Construction of the new regional head office, for one of the area’s key employers, is progressing well, with much of the outside shell now in place, at St. Modwen’s £210m Skypark development near Exeter, as shown by recently captured aerial footage.

When it completes in early 2018, the building will provide 30,000 sq ft of modern energy efficient head office space, with easy access onto the nearby junction 29 of the M5 motorway, for local housing group, DCH.  This new regional head office is one of two premises currently underway at Skypark.  The second neighbouring 17,142 sq ft unit is being built speculatively, with a choice of floor sizes starting from 5,582 sq ft, to meet strong local demand for high quality commercial space.  It will be available for purchase or rent upon build completion this autumn.

Skypark is a 20-year development which will provide up to 1.4 million sq ft of industrial and office space with potential for up to 6,500 jobs long term.  The development also now benefits from Enterprise Zone status which will further enhance the site’s commercial appeal and help to attract more inward investment and business occupiers to the area long term.

Any businesses interested in rent or purchase opportunities at Skypark should contact St. Modwen’s agents JLL or Alder King.
