Lambert Smith Hampton wins four prestigious industry awards

Commercial property specialist Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH) is celebrating after winning a series of major awards at this year’s South Coast Property Awards.

Specialists in LSH’s South Coast team picked up four accolades at the high-profile event, which took place last week to recognise the region’s outstanding talent in the property sector.

LSH won the award for best Industrial and Logistics Consultancy of the Year and best Property Consultancy – Offices at the ceremony, which took place at Hilton at the Ageas Bowl in Southampton.

The firm, which has offices in Fareham and Southampton, has been a driving force in the transaction of high-quality industrial and logistics space in the south, acting as agents for major sites including Alpha Park, in Chandlers Ford, and the J9 South site at Segensworth. In total, the LSH team secured 79 deals, handling 683,857sq ft of logistics and industrial space.

LSH office sector specialists have been at the forefront in the transaction of high-quality office space, acting as agents for a number of key regeneration projects, including the White Building in Southampton and Chilcomb Park in Winchester. In total, the LSH team secured 52 deals, handling 244,902 sq ft of office space.

LSH also won an award for Property Deal of the Year.  The LSH team was instrumental in securing the redevelopment part of the former Ford Transit plant, in Wide Lane, Southampton, where a new 50,000 sq ft Jaguar Land Rover dealership with showrooms and workshops will be completed in 2018. When fully completed, the development is expected to support an estimated 150 jobs.

The LSH team is also acting as agents for Dunsbury Park, which was recognised as the Business Park of the Year at the awards. The 50-acre site in Havant has outline planning consent for more than 600,000 sq ft of space for industrial and storage use and the potential to create more than 3,000 jobs.
