TFT expands team to meet demand for sustainability, energy and wellbeing services

Independent property and construction consultancy Tuffin Ferraby Taylor LLP (TFT) has announced the appointments of Oliver Morris and Giulia Mori as the firm continues to respond to demand for its specialist services in sustainability, energy and wellbeing consultancy.

Oliver and Giulia report to Mat Lown, partner and head of TFT’s Sustainability, Energy and Wellbeing practice.

Oliver joined TFT as Energy & Sustainability Consultant. He joins TFT from Eight Associates, where he was an environmental consultant specializing in environmental assessments and low carbon design within the built environment. Prior to this he was a biology and field researcher and database developer with the University of Leicester. He has an MSc in the RICS-accredited Sustainable Management of Natural Resources, and a BA in Geography, both from the University of Leicester.

Giulia was appointed as Graduate Energy & Sustainability Consultant. She joined TFT from Syntegra Group where she was a sustainability design engineer, applying BREEAM® sustainability assessment methods to commercial and residential developments. Giulia obtained an MSc in Environmental Design and Engineering from University College London and a BSc in Environmental Architecture from the Politecnico di Milano, Italy.

Oliver and Giulia’s appointments follow that of Helena Bradford, who joined TFT as Senior Energy & Sustainability Consultant in March.

Mat Lown, head of TFT’s Sustainability, Energy and Wellbeing business, said: “Clients across the UK are faced with demanding energy and sustainability obligations but also need to maintain commercial viability. We’re seeing more demand from clients who need both technical excellence in sustainability matters and deep commercial property knowledge.”

The latest appointments bring to ten the number of sustainability and energy specialists at TFT.
