TV company expands again in Clifton, Bristol

Leading London TV post-production company Evolutions has opened its third office in Clifton Bristol, in the heart of the city’s media district.

The combined 3025 sq ft office space at 1 and 2 St Paul’s Road will provide additional capacity for the thriving business, and follows Evolutions’ acquisition of the highly-regarded Bristol post production house Big Bang Post Production Ltd.

Big Bang’s picture editing and finishing equipment and infrastructure, its on-going work, and all 14 of its full-time staff have become part of Evolutions Bristol.

Evolutions is one of the largest independent full-service post production companies in London’s Soho, and one of Clifton’s fastest-growing businesses.

Andy Smith of property consultants Knight Frank advised Evolutions on the acquisition of the 2035 sq ft Victorian villa at 38 Whiteladies Road and leased to them 11,000 sq ft office at 11-13 Whiteladies Road. He said: “Evolutions is a major Bristol success story and we were delighted to help the company expand in Clifton once again.”

Simon Kanjee, managing director, Evolutions said: “The Big Bang deal provides continuity for staff, clients and projects, adds significant talent to Evolutions Bristol’s already extensive capabilities and widens our remit to include natural history programming. It’s a great conclusion for everyone.”
