Investors swoop to secure two Stockport Park units

Two end-of-terrace industrial/warehouse units on an Amesbury business park have been snapped up by private investors.

Property consultancy Myddelton & Major has successfully negotiated the sale of Units 5 and 6 in Stockport Park.

Quoting price on the 3,710 sq ft (344.67 sq m) two-storey property was £205,000.

The property, currently generating £16,800 per annum in rent, is let to flooring specialists Heath Flooring Supplies Ltd on a three-year lease term.

Myddelton & Major Partner Dean Speer said: “With continuing low interest rates we are seeing good demand from private investors for commercial property.

“Investors not only see greater returns but are also attracted to owning an investment that even if the tent leaves they still have an asset.

“The units have a fitted first floor, cloakroom facilities and two electrically operated shutter doors plus allocated parking and loading space.

“With existing tenants such as Designcraft, A and J Moore Metal Recycling and Red House Foods, there is a thriving business and investment community in Stockport Park.”
