Clarke Willmott announces new Partners and promotions

Leading national law firm Clarke Willmott LLP has promoted three people to Partners.

Robert Ridd (Bristol), Clare Gregory (Cardiff) and Greg Hughes (Southampton) have all been promoted to Partners at the firm, which has seven offices across England and Wales.

Robert Ridd joined Clarke Willmott in 2010 and has expertise at all levels of the business cycle, from corporate formations to insolvency sales. He has a particular interest in assisting start-up enterprises through early structuring advice and venture capital investments, and in the use of limited liability partnerships.

Clare Gregory joined the firm in 2014 and specialises in Real Estate Finance with particular emphasis on investment and development funding.   Clare advises clearing and private banks, building societies, specialist lenders and borrowers (both corporate and individual) on all aspects of lending transactions.

Greg Hughes has been with Clarke Willmott since 2006 and specialises in commercial and corporate disputes, including complex commercial contract disputes, high-value contested debt and enforcement action. He has a particular focus working in the IT, internet, social media, recruitment and retail sectors.
