Real Estate Investors plc (REI) has agreed a ten-year lease for one of its most prestigious offices in Leicester city centre to a commercial property company.

REI, the Birmingham-based, AIM-listed, property group has agreed a rent of more than £23,000 a year with the Innes England group, commercial property agents in Derby, Leicester and Nottingham.

Innes England is taking a 1,738 sq ft open plan space for its own use on the second floor of Peat House, a grade A office building on Waterloo Way, in Leicester’s prime office quarter.

The company will join KPMG and Bellrock Facilities Management as leading names in Peat House, which lies on the London Road and Granby Street intersection, just a few minutes’ walk from the city centre shops and opposite Leicester train station.

Ian Clark, senior asset manager at REI, said: “We’re really pleased to welcome Innes England to what’s becoming one of Leicester’s most-sought after offices.

“We still have more space available in Peat House, but have ongoing inquiries from several high-profile businesses and so would advise interested parties to act fast to secure their space.”

Each floor is finished to a high specification, including air-conditioning throughout, suspended ceilings, recessed lighting and full carpeting.

There is on-site security, and secure basement car parking is available with direct access into the reception.

Companies interested in Peat House should contact Sam Sutton at Phillips Sutton Associates, or Peter Doleman at Innes England.
