Robert Hitchins welcomes first tenant to refurbished offices in Bristol

Robert Hitchins Ltd has welcomed the first tenants to its premium office building in the heart of Bristol following a refurbishment.

National recruitment agency Blue Arrow has taken a 10-year lease, with a five-year break, on the ground floor of the PS21 office complex in Prince Street.

Senior Development Manager for developer Robert Hitchins Ltd, Michael Plimmer, welcomed the specialist staffing company, part of the Impellam Group plc.

“We’re really pleased with the interest we have had in PS21 since its refurbishment and are delighted to secure our first letting to such a well-regarded organisation, with lettings to other national companies on the remaining ground and first floors to follow shortly.

“There has been a significant amount of investment in central Bristol over the last two years leading to demand from the technical, media and telecoms sector but with an acute shortage of quality office accommodation, companies are struggling to find what they want.

“PS21 is immediately available offering a total 15,188 sq ft of light, open office space complete with air conditioning, shower facilities, fitted kitchens, bike store and parking, and close to city amenities. It’s suitable for a wide range of occupiers.”

Joint letting agents in Bristol are Knight Frank and CBRE.

Charlie Lickiss of CBRE said: “We are pleased to have completed our first letting with such a high-quality tenant which reflects the quality of the refurbishment and the building’s prominent location.”

The offices at 21 Prince Street were the former home of TSB’s 300 finance, communications and HR staff until 2015.

The acquisition by Robert Hitchins Ltd was one of five in Bristol in the last year as the company expands its investment portfolio. The other four are Building 220 in Bristol Business Park let to Babcock; the regional HQ of Handelsbanken at Parkway, Stoke Gifford; and 2540 and 2520 Aztec West.

Robert Hitchins, based in Gloucestershire, is one of the leading property developers and investors in the South West and South Wales. It deals with the full development process from site acquisition and planning through to development and investment.
