Lettings success at Andover’s newest trade park

Glenmore Trade Park, Andover

Three major tenants have already been secured for Andover’s newest trade park – before it is even finished.

Construction work is progressing well on the eight-unit Glenmore Trade Park and it is due to be completed this July.

Property consultancy Myddelton & Major has successfully negotiated deals for Topps Tiles, Magnet Kitchens and Formula One Autocentres.

Fronting Newbury Road and close to the Andover Ring Road, Glenmore Trade Park comprises eight trade counter/industrial units situated in a prominent position adjacent to the busy roadside.

Myddelton & Major Senior Surveyor Keith Enters said: “Excellent progress has been made onsite by developers The Glenmore Group and we are delighted to have signed up three major tenants off-plan.

“This major new trade park in Andover will be a fantastic boost for the local economy as well as potentially bringing a substantial number of new jobs to the town.”

Keith, based at the Andover office of Myddelton & Major, added: “The whole of Block B has now been let, leaving five units in Block A currently available, with sizes ranging from 3,251 sq ft (302 sq m) to 17,357 sq ft (1,613 sq m).

“Businesses interested in taking space at this exciting new development should move quickly as demand has so far been exceptionally strong.”

Glenmore Trade Park’s new buildings are being constructed to the very highest industry standards, offering high quality, secure premises on an attractive, landscaped estate.

The new development is within walking distance of Tesco and Sainsbury supermarkets and Enham Arch Retail Park, where occupiers include Halfords, Homebase, Next, Maplin Electronics, Wickes, The Range, KFC and Brantano Footwear.

Also in close proximity is Churchill Way Retail Park, which accommodates national retailers such as TK Maxx, Currys Digital and Carpet Right.

The Glenmore Group is a London based investment and development company which has built business parks, centres and industrial estates through the South and the Home Counties, including the Glenmore Business Park on Colebrook Way, Andover.

Myddelton & Major’s Andover office in London Street covers sales and lettings of commercial and residential property throughout the Test Valley.
