Knight Property Group strengthen team with new Development Director

Commercial Property Developer, Knight Property Group, have appointed a Development Director to their team to manage their growing portfolio in the central belt of Scotland.

Alan Clark joins the company this month following two and a half years as Associate Director at Commercial and Project Services consultancy company, Hargreaves Jones Ltd.

Alan’s vast experience includes over 18 years within a managerial role. After 3 years as Development Manager at CLS Holdings Ltd in London, Alan moved to Edinburgh where he continued his experience within the property industry.

Howard Crawshaw, Director at Knight Property Group comments, “With our Edinburgh portfolio continually expanding and the launch of our latest project, Edinburgh House, it’s important that we have the right person overseeing our central belt developments. Alan has fantastic industry experience and we’re delighted he has chosen to join the Knight team.”

Knight Property Group have spent in excess of £20million in Edinburgh over the last 18 months, acquiring properties in prime locations including George Street, Castle Terrace and the most recent being the acquisition of £12 million development Edinburgh House.

Commenting on his appointment, Alan Clark said, “I am delighted to undertake my new role within the company. I look forward to drawing upon my experience gained in previous positions and I am excited to support Knight’s further expansion within the central belt.”

Knight, established in Aberdeen in 1987, provides a broad range of property investment and development services to clients in a number of industries.

The firm is the sister company of Aberdeen’s Chess Group, which either own or has investments in serviced office provider BlueSky Business Space, storage, racking and e-commerce web businesses CSI, IT venture Eskimo Intelligent Solutions and commercial climate control enterprise Aircon Scotland.
