‘No vacancies’ signs go up at Coity Crescent

Property agents DLP Surveyors and Jenkins Best have been successful in agreeing lease terms on two further units on the Bridgend Industrial Estate, which they are marketing on behalf of Scottish Widows Investment Partnership Real Estate (SWIP).

The latest terms have been agreed on Coity Crescent, a terrace of eight 1,500 sq.ft. workshop units towards the eastern end of the estate. The latest occupiers include E-Book Accessories Ltd., a local Bridgend-based company who have taken a new lease of unit 8, having expanded into the unit from their unit adjacent. E-Book Accessories Ltd. were created by Jonathan Ling little over 3 years ago and have rapidly expanded both their business and turnover, from initially operating from Jonathan’s home to now occupying 3,000 sq.ft. of workshop space on the estate. ‘E-Book’ are primarily an internet–based importer, seller & distributor to a world-wide client base.

In addition Banbury Technologies Ltd., who supply and fit electronic devices to vehicles, have also just agreed terms on a new 5 year lease of Unit 5.

Commenting on the lettings, Michael Bruce of DLP Surveyors said, “In agreeing to new lease terms on both of these units, Coity Crescent is now fully let. We are particularly pleased with the rapid
expansion of E-Book Accessories who have shown their commitment to the Bridgend Industrial Estate by taking an extra unit as part of their company development.”

Anthony Jenkins, of Jenkins Best, also reported, “We are delighted that our client continues to take a proactive approach to accommodating new and existing tenants occupational requirements which is reflected in the above deals.

The Bridgend Industrial Estate is owned by Clerical Medical Investment Group and fund-managed by Scottish Widows Investment Partnership Real Estate.
