Leading chartered surveyors Johnson Fellows has strengthened its retail agency team with the appointment of a new senior surveyor.

Iain Mills joins the Black Country-based company from Towler Shaw Roberts, where he headed up the Wolverhampton agency department. There he undertook a varied workload involving office, industrial, investment and retail premises for private individuals, property companies and financial institutions.

He was also involved in acquisitions for two regional charities for their expanding retail estates.

In his new role, he will work on acquisitions and disposals on behalf of numerous national and multiple retailers, institutional landlords and property companies through to independent and regional traders across the UK.

Chris Gaskell, partner at Johnson Fellows, said: “We’ve been growing rapidly over the past two years, attracting new clients and adding new talent across all our teams.

“Iain brings a huge amount of experience, gained over the past 10 years, and we are delighted to welcome him to our expanding retail agency team. We’re looking forward to him contributing further to the firm’s continued success.”

Iain hails from Wolverhampton and attended the local grammar school and later the university, where he attained a BSc (Hons) in property asset management. A keen sportsman, he is second team captain for Shifnal Cricket Club and also a member of Shifnal Golf Club.
