Property firm stays true to its Gloucester roots

Following continued business growth in recent years Bruton Knowles has moved its head office in Gloucester to Olympus House on Olympus Park in Quedgeley.

Managing Partner Patrick Downes said that turnover had nearly doubled since the 2008 recession and during this period the partnership opened new offices in Plymouth, Bristol, Shrewsbury and Leeds which had led to greater demands on head office.

An extensive search across the region took place to find the right offices with a commitment to keeping head office within Gloucestershire.

He said: “It has been a challenging search to find the right space for us and in the end it turned out to be only the other side of the road from our old office, making the move an exceptionally smooth process.”

The firm has maintained an office in Gloucester since its launch back in 1862.

Patrick said: “The new office space is professional and modern and will support our future growth plans. We remain as committed as ever to this city and look forward to welcoming clients to Olympus House.”
