Keyland Developments has instructed the Leeds office of BNP Paribas Real Estate to dispose of a diverse portfolio of eight development sites totalling circa 40 acres across the Yorkshire region.

The portfolio includes former reservoir sites on Broadgate Road in Beverley and Osgodby in Scarborough which extend to circa 2 acres and 3.65 acres respectively.

In Ossett Spa in Wakefield, Keyland is disposing of the freehold interest on an extensive 25 acre development opportunity site which offers long-term development potential, subject to planning, directly adjacent to the M1. A 2.22 acre site at Loftsome Bridge in Wressle near Goole has also been launched along with 5.56 acres of agricultural land in Oxenhope and a 4.31 acre development opportunity site in Carr Vale, Bolsover.

In North Yorkshire Penny Pot House on Penny Pot Lane in Harrogate, a development site totalling 0.31 acres, has also been launched to market as a unique redevelopment opportunity. Additionally, the freehold interest in a 0.24 acre site on the A59 York Road, Knaresborough is being marketed. The site is within the Knaresborough Technology Park so offers potential for retail development.

Keyland Developments has appointed the BNP Paribas Real Estate team to dispose of the sites following a similar ongoing project being undertaken on behalf of National Grid.

Ryan Unsworth, Development Manager of Keyland Developments Ltd, said; “This portfolio of sites offers a broad range of development opportunities for keen individuals seeking a unique conversion project or for developers looking for interesting sites within the region. We were impressed with how the BNP Paribas Real Estate team approached a similar disposal project for National Grid and are looking forward to working with them on this diverse portfolio.”

Iain Cairns, Surveyor at BNP Paribas Real Estate, commented;

“We are delighted to have been appointed by Keyland Developments to dispose of this portfolio of sites. Marketing has begun and we have had high levels of interest from a range of different purchasers looking for unique opportunities. The sites range in potential from agricultural land to significant development opportunities in strategic locations.”
