Sterling opportunity reaches Exeter market

An opportunity to acquire headquarters premises in Exeter’s principal business district has reached the market.

The South West Regional Development Agency has appointed Alder King Property Consultants to sublet its headquarters building Sterling House in Dix’s Field.  Extending to 28,407 sq ft (2,639 sq m), the building represents the largest city centre office space currently available on the market.

Alder King believe that due to the size of the building and its prime location in the city centre, it could potentially attract a major business searching for new headquarters in the city.

As well as being available to sub let as a whole, the building could be also be let in floors from 5,817 sq ft (540 sq m) or part floors, as required.  Sterling House is a modern purpose built office and offers an impressive glazed atrium and reception area, boardroom facilities, lift access to the upper floors and a secure car park.

Dominic Rosenbaum, surveyor at Alder King said: “Exeter is home to numerous large employers including the Met Office, EDF Energy, Devon and Cornwall Constabulary amongst others, and Sterling House offers an excellent opportunity for a large employer to relocate or expand into the city centre.

“The building is positioned in a prime location in the city’s principal business district with good public transport links being a short walk from the main bus station and central railway station, and close to Princesshay Shopping Centre.”

Details of the lease terms and rent are available from the sole letting agent Alder King.
