Notts shoppers urged to vote for favourite retailers

Shoppers in Nottingham are being given the chance to vote for their favourite shops, cafes and restaurants as part of intu’s first ever Retailer Awards in the city.

The Retailer Awards will recognise the very best stores across both intu Victoria Centre and intu Broadmarsh in categories including Most Loved Men’s Fashion, Best for Coffee and Cake, Best for Shoes and Best for Customer Service – all of which will be voted for by the public. intu Victoria Centre and intu Broadmarsh will also award a prize for the overall Retailer of the Year at each centre.

Voting is now open on each centre’s website and will close on 16 September with the winners announced at a ceremony at Revolution Hockley on 13 October.

Nicola McCabe, marketing manager for intu in Nottingham, said: “The Retailer Awards aim to recognise the very best stores across both intu Victoria Centre and intu Broadmarsh and we’re excited to be hosting the awards for the first time this year. Our customers opinions are really valued, so we’ve made them the judges!”

“Customers can place their votes by visiting the intu Victoria Centre or intu Broadmarsh website and they may even win a £50 intu gift card for taking part.”

Voting categories for the inaugural Retailer Awards include: Most Loved Men’s Fashion, Most Loved Women’s Fashion, Best for Shoes, Most Loved Children’s Retailer, Best for Coffee and Cake, Most Loved Restaurant, Best Health and Beauty Retailer, Specialist Store, Best Jewellery and Accessories and Newcomer of the Year.
