Knights on track for five times revenue growth in five years

David Beech, CEO of Knights

Knights professional services has more than doubled its revenue in the last five years to become a £21 million turnover firm and is now projected to almost double this figure to £40 million by 2017.

In 2011 Knights, which has offices in Staffordshire, was achieving an annual turnover of £8 million with 160 professionals. Now boasting a team of 460 high-calibre professionals across seven regional offices, the firm is living up to its name as the ‘fast-growing law firm in the UK’.

David Beech, CEO puts the success of the business down to hiring some of the most talented professionals with expertise in specialist areas and creating a culture that turns the traditional partnership model of a law firm on its head.

“It’s been a fantastic journey since 2011 and one that wouldn’t have been possible without rethinking how legal services are delivered to clients,” said David.

“We’ve completed two major acquisitions, invested in our staff and technology to create a full service team working from seven offices in Staffordshire, Cheltenham, Cheshire, Derbyshire, Hale, Oxford and Colchester for clients all over the UK.

“We have significantly grown our specialist services to include experts in franchising, education, medical negligence, equine, brain injury and tax and estates, as well as strengthening our existing real estate, corporate, employment and private client teams.

“More clients are using us for non-legal services too, such as management consultancy, town planning and accountancy – it’s a really exciting time for Knights.

“Unlike many traditional law firms, we have a dedicated client relations team which gathers feedback from existing clients to improve services and provide mentoring to develop the skills of our professionals too.

“Our success is testament to the hard work of everyone who works at Knights and we have plans to grow further to become the regional professional services business in the UK.”
